Back to School Memories

Share with your friends!

Back to school is here- and no matter what type of schooling you do, making memories on these days is so important! We take pictures of our children so that we can compare them from year to year. Also, these are moments we can’t get back  – and so making sure we take a moment to take down those memories is key.

It is almost school time- and we need to make sure we keep memories from these first few days!

Each year, as my children go back to school, I try to make the day special for them. From special breakfast, to taking their picture – I try to make the day something that they will remember. The day can be crazy, so it takes some planning- but I think it is so worth it. It helps me fight the mommy blues of sending my older two back, and helps make leaving summer a little easier.

Since one of my children is homeschooled, I can make her whole day of learning centered!  We are going to have a fun filled day of fun, hands on learning!

For my other children (two are still in public school), we will still have our breakfast and take the pictures. I also make sure that they get to have an awesome snack (this year it is going to be this amazing granola snack!) I also try to make sure there are some fun things in store- I usually do a card and a new t-shirt. Practical things that are not too expensive. I always stop and get a Sonic drink on the way home for them too (a cheap treat after a great day!)

No matter if your children are homeschooled, public, or private – remembering them at this stage of life is going to be something you want to do. From what they looked like, how their handwriting was, and what their favorite things are – we want to help you remember them! So, I have created this fun sheet to help you keep the memories of your little one – because if we blink long enough, they will change.
