My New Make-Up Must Have: Mascara

Ya’ll I don’t wear a lot of make-up.  In fact there are more days I go without it than I wear it.  I am sure you each have your own favorite brand and products (as I do) but I want to introduce something to you that I will now not be without!!  Bear in mind that this is only my opinion of this product and your results may be completely different.  I was given the product to review and to tell each of you about!

How I used the product

The first time I used the product I watched videos on YouTube to see how others used it and I read the directions that came enclosed in my kit.  I had never used a 3 step process before so I was a bit intimidated but determined to give it my best shot. Working on only one eye at a time I coated my lashes with my usual brand of mascara.  Then I applied the transplanting gel.  I used a very thick coat of this.  I went side ways and on the top and bottom of my upper lashes.  Without allowing much time at all for the gel to dry I immediately added the fibers.  I started at the base of the last and worked upward and then concentrated on the tips.  After achieving the thickness and length I wanted I went over them with another coat of the transplanting gel to set them.  You will notice that there is some fall of the fibers as you are applying them to your lashes.  Just wipe them away with your powder brush.

I love this stuff!!!  Seriously, I don’t think it will ever not be in my make-up routine.  Sure it takes a bit longer to apply but WOW!  The results are awesome.  My lashes almost reach my brows.  They look and feel natural.  Now after using this for over a month I have played around with my technique.  I no longer apply regular mascara before applying my fist coat of gel.  I just start with the gel and move forward.  It makes it feel a little less heavy.

At the end of the day I wash my face with Dove soap and then my normal routine (Clinique 3 Step).  They wash off clean and leave my lashes normal.  My worry is that my lashes would be damamged from all of the product.  I think that reverse has happened.  My lashes seem to be a bit thicker and fuller.
