We love when the stores start stocking their shelves with Easter candy. One of Emma’s favorite Easter candies is Peeps. She loves those little sugar-coated marshmallow treats. I have to admit that I like them, too.
So, when I saw an idea for Peep S’mores on Pinterest a few years ago, I had to try them out for myself! I invited a gaggle of girls to come over for a few hours on Spring Break. We made s’mores.
Peep S’mores have become a tradition. Only now, thanks to my baby sister, I like to make them with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in addition to Hershey bars. Oh my yummy goodness! And, they are so easy to make!
Gather your supplies – graham crackers, chocolate (Hersheys, Reece’s, whatever you choose), and Peeps (or marshmallows). That’s it!
Last time I made Peep S’mores, my nephew helped me make them. He loved stacking all the crackers, candy, and Peeps. I loved watching him watch the S’mores in the oven. The Peeps puff up! We baked them at 350 degrees for a few minutes, but you could just as easily make them in the microwave (about 20 seconds should do it).
Isaiah thought they were finger-lickin’ good!
Emma’s really hoping to get some Peeps in her Easter basket so she can request these, but I may have to surprise her with a movie and some Peep S’mores just because I love her!
