I can hardly believe that it’s already time to start thinking about Thanksgiving! Sure, the stores have had the decorations out for weeks now and I’m in the midst of making plans to visit loved ones, but summer is still fresh in my memory banks. I haven’t quite mentally begun to make the switch to fall. Of course, living in the south where we are still occasionally experiencing 80+ degree days doesn’t help me think about filling my belly with all the Thanksgiving fixins’!
Nevertheless, it’s time to start planning for the holiday season and what better way for our children to start celebrating than to bring a bit of Thanksgiving themed fun to their day?
