My family loves cinnamon rolls but they seem to take a couple hours to prepare. As a result, I decided to try them out using canned biscuits. They are a big hit around our home! This photo alone shows how tasty they look! Hope you enjoy them as much as we do. ![]()
Easy Cinnamon Rolls

These will keep in the refrigerator and will be just as delicious when reheated for a few seconds in the microwave.
Ingredients
- 1 can frozen flaky biscuits
- 1/3 cup plus 1 TBSP brown sugar
- 3 TBSP butter
- For Frosting:
- 2 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 TBSP butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1-1/4 powdered sugar
- 1 tsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees or follow the directions on the biscuit can.
- Mix 1 TBSP butter with 1 TBSP melted butter.
- Spread over a cookie sheet.
- Set aside.
- Lump the biscuits together into one big ball.
- Roll out into a rectangular shape onto a lightly floured board.
- Roll it out as far as you can – it may be a little stiff (up to 12 inches).
- Don’t worry if you cannot get it to 12 inches.
- Paste the dough with 2 TBSP butter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the dough.
- Roll up into a log, starting at the wider ends. Seal ends.
- Cut log into 10 to 12 pieces.
- Place on baking sheet and bake according to the time given on the biscuit can.
- Spread immediately with frosting.
- For frosting:
- Beat cream cheese and butter together until creamy.
- Beat in the vanilla and sugar.
- Add in the milk.
