Hi friend, the Christmas season is quickly approaching and I am already making big plans for it.
Are you like me and find yourself in the middle of the hustle and bustle and feeling like the season is passing you by quicker than you would like?

This season I want to focus less on gifts, grandeur, and the over commercialism that has taken over. I want to focus more on finding peace in every day moments, joy in stillness, and on seeing the love all around me.
Over the next few weeks I will be confessing to you about how I have not had much of either of these things in my life. I am going to share with you how I plan to change that, and I invite you to join me as I do so.
A Season of Joy
I have collaborated with my dear friend, Misty, of Year Round Homeschooling, to bring you A Season of Joy. It is a series unlike any other I have created for MTM. This series, is going to take place mostly in a Facebook group. The reason for this change is to make it more personal and interactive.
Each week Misty and I will share with you where we are in our study. We will discuss how it is preparing our hearts and our minds for the season.
Every day we will share with you the verse of the day. We will be chatting back and forth about how this verse has touched us this season.
Our series has started today and will run the entire month of November. The reason for having a Christmas series in November instead of December was 2 fold for us.
- We do not want to spend the entire month of December working.
- Starting in November instead of December gives us all ample time to get our hearts and minds focused on the end goal – Peace, Love, and Joy!
