Did you know that April 13th-19th is National Library Week?
Most homeschoolers are very familiar with their local libraries. I’m even on a first name basis with my librarian! We go often, checking out as many books as we can carry, on as many subjects as we find interest in, ready to learn or enjoy stories about faraway places or enchanting people.
Libraries are free to everyone and are all-inclusive no matter socio-economic status, race, age, size, shape, or intelligence level. Everyone can find a book that they’ll enjoy. This is why we should be thankful for these community pillars and support them!
