It is no secret at all that I have spent a lot of my life battling depression. It is a struggle that many women, including me, face.
When the chemicals in your brain jumble up it makes it so hard to see the good in life. God has promised us that He is with us and will be there for us. That often leaves our mind as soon as we sit in the middle of our struggle.
I will be the first to admit that when I am going through a season of depression I often put my Bible down and wallow in my own pity. My rational self knows that this isn’t practical or what I should be doing. But that depressed me doesn’t know to listen to the rational me.
That is why I wanted to work on something that will help me and anyone else battling this nasty disease. Something on top of the 6 Practical Tips for Moms Battling Depression.
Several months ago I put together scripture cards for moms battling depression. Those were scooped up so fast that I knew I needed to do more. I just wasn’t sure what.
After prayer and waiting I decided that I needed to build on those scripture cards and put together something a bit more tangible for all of us.
