Welcome to this weeks Inspired Wednesday. I hope that you week is going great so far. I am taking a bit of a break this week and spending some much needed time with my family. So the blog may be just a bit quiet.
Hello Mornings
If you know me personally, or have been following me for any amount of time, you will know that I am not a morning person. That, my friends, is putting it mildly.
I have never been a fan of early mornings. That may or may not have had a role in my decision to homeschool. I kid, I kid. I love my bed and I love my sleep. A month ago I was hired on for some social media work for a client. It requires that I get up and get to work by 7:30!! Stop rolling your eyes at me! That is early!!
As I took on this job I prayed that the Lord would help and hold me accountable for this new wake up and bed time routine. That very same day I saw that Hello Mornings was opening enrollment. I signed up. I didn’t even think about it. I joined a homeschool group and introduced myself before I had a chance to even back out.
–Have you heard about Hello Mornings? It is an accountability website with a Bible Study. Enrollment for the fall session has closed but I encourage you to sign up when enrollment opens again if this is something that you need! To find out more go HERE!—
You know what? It has been incredible! I get up and get going. I have my quiet time and I am getting more done in the day than before. My moods are more consistent (and usually good! ha!). I am eating breakfast and working out.
I wish I had known sooner that this could be a good fit for me. That I can function better just by getting up earlier. I am not saying that this is super easy and that it is something that I enjoy. BUT it is something that I plan to continue and pray that the Lord uses to keep me on task and motivated.
So, dear friends, are you a morning person or a night owl?
